Antagonist Line Art Sheet V2 | Unfinished

This is what I've been working on today, it's a rehash of the original idea for my character line art sheet. I think this design is much better. It showcases the design much more than the previous sheet and I think the designs/shapes are much clearer because of the contrast of the blue fill on the white background. This really helps the designs stand out.

On the side I have also added the Characters weapon and optional helmet as well as a description. The stick man is where the back view will go.

I searched through my collection of art books for a while to get inspiration for layout designs. This is the reason I decided to add the accessories and description. They add descriptors and more interest to the character whilst also filling out the sheet much better. It looks less blank and more filled out.

The idea for the blue fill came from the last of us concept art style.
The brief asks for a neat line art sheet but it also asks for it to be in a similar style to the last of us which doesn't really have very neat line art. Neither, actually does dragon age, they are both quite rough which I think gives more visual interest and flow cause of the line style, this adds to the sense of movement.

I don't think i managed to replicate the line style, but, you know, that's just because of the way I draw and the brief doesn't ask for exactly the same line style, I have just used it as inspiration.

EDIT: I just realised that I wrote Helme rather than helmet on the front helmet label.

Idea for adding rotated helmet design inspired by rotated inquisition character faces in Inquisition artbook. shown Left.
