I was just thinking of something I was taught whilst I was doing English Lit in secondary school, it's a tool for essay writing but I actually think it works as well, if not better with art.

The idea is to PEEL. Point, Evidence, Explain and Link.

Making the point would be posting the artwork or research idea. Whatever.

The evidence would be why you have picked it or other peoples evaluations of what you've done or other peoples/artists methods that you've used.

Explain would be an explanation of above, how and why.

Link would be linking what you have done back to your research, how has it influenced the design?
